Our selection of costumes includes the original TVNZ wardrobe established 30 years ago, consisting of many unique items from popular NZ productions.
We have expanded over the years to include thousands of original 50's, 60's and 70's and 80's clothes.
Our extensive fancy dress range is made up of every imaginable theme: 70's Hippy or Pimp, Medieval, Arabian, Roman Gladiator, Western, Hollywood, Elvis, Ethnic Costumes, Super Hero and many more...
We have now grown into the largest prop and costume hire in New Zealand with the most comprehensive range of products to choose from.

20th April 2011 Love this place.. my partner brought his costume from here, winning best dress and looking super hot! they have a very organised variety of costumes to choose from and AWSOME! customer service from a guy that was very lively funny and very helpful. :) Highly reccomend this place.

9th June 2009 This is a great Fancy dress shop... the sales team really help you with your costume hire and ideas. We have got our last 4 or 5 costumes from First Scene and went in with no idea what we wanted to go as each time. The staff really are consultants.
