Customer feedback is essential in running any business. Im sure if you had contacted the store you would have been satisfied with the remedy that they would offer. New World Orewa has high standards and these are maintained throughout the
store.They have been in business for 40 years they must be doing something Right!!!

I had a problem with them also i reviewed it and had problems with New World Orewa , Its on the google review of the company , Standards are declining i have to say myself , i rang up and they offered me vouchers not even an letter just a "Oh sorry for the inconvenience" Well it shouldn't of bloody of happened in the first place , A+ on customer service there (NOT) , The food isnt as good as it used to be (Produce and Deli wise) , 40 years is a long time , but high quality is not something i see at new world orewa as i was long time shopper there and since my problem iv been with New World Albany down the road and i have to say money well spent there , never a problem there and i feel valued as a customer personally i have my regular shop there and staff say to me nice to see me again! I was amazed. I see why their Topshop

I am disgusted and outraged after my husband visited your store in Orewa tonight 06/02/09.
I had decided to make some muffins (12) for work tomorrow and sent my husband down to New World Orewa to get some berries to put in them, he came back with blackberries from the berry fresh co and blue berries. I proceeded to push them into my muffins, I thought they were a bit soft but didn’t think too much of it, when I got to the last muffin I noticed that the berries were moldy and upon closer inspection I saw that they had fruit flies crawling over them and the maggots of the fruit flies inside them. I then tried to take the berries out of my muffins and noticed that there were now maggots from the berries crawling around in the muffin mix. My husband wanted to bring them back straight away but as 1/2 of the punnet had been put into muffin mix I didn’t see that being a help, I also prevented him from coming back because It would mean stepping foot back in your store. We have been customers of yours since 1993 and we have noticed the declining standards of your store over a period of time (please don’t patronize me by blaming the economy as we are paying more for the privilege of shopping in your store now)I am disappointed that you are selling your customers such disgusting produce are you really that desperate as this is not the first time this sort of thing has happened . Therefore we have decided to now take our business down to Albany New World as I’m sure plenty of your customers already have. I have also kept the rest of the berries as I intend contacting the health department. WE ARE DISGUSTED! SHAME ON YOU!!
