Rented a truck for one day on the Saturday, got charged for two after arranging over the phone to return 15 minutes past closing time. $75 dollar a day rental has turned in to $300+ rip off. Totally unscrupulous ripoff merchants. Rude, bad attitude from the guy at reception and totally unacceptable excuse of "we're closed on Sunday so we charged you through to monday, its our company policy" to rip people off apparently. WARNING to everyone - Completely avoid this company.

Never use that company. shocking service. liar. when we rented the car and talked to the staff that we will be returning the car after they close the office and there won't be extra charge, the staff said fine (twice we checked). But when the bond was returned, with no apparent reason, an extra day was charged from the bond ($61) and how much did they charge for petrol? ($73 which is way too much) (no break down given). The reason they asked for $500 bond is to treat people like that ... to take whatever money from that bond. The bond was returned only many days later. the staff who answered the phone was very rude. (my rating -1)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you need a reliable vehicle and want to deal with ethical people! Rented a vehicle for 24 hours to move house and it broke down after driving 10km, had to be towed away, was not given any kind of refund or apology, was blamed for their faulty vehicle, customer service was disgusting and it was not even the cheapest company to use. Wish I had read other reviews about this company online before using them, if I had known how useless they were I would never have used them would have saved time, money and lots of stress.

I was reasonably happy with the place until returning the vehicle. I watched the guy in front of me contest being charged for fuel when he'd filled it up down the road, with a receipt to prove it. When my invoice was finalised I was charged for what equated to 15 litres of Diesel to go 100km? When I asked if this was right the lady went 'out the back' to check and returned and told me it was because it was "Hi-Octane and Automatic" and depended on my load. The only problem was i'd hired a diesel, manual, Transit. At this point there were 3 people contesting their charges and I couldn't be f.ed arguing over $5, but the principle is the same. They're milking every cent they can, so double check this part of your bill.

Not impressed with customer service with this company. Rang on a Friday to book a 2 tonne truck for the Saturday morning. Told by the customer service representative that there was no need to book ahead, plenty of trucks. Arrived (after travelling some distance) mid morning Saturday, to be told no 2 tonne's available. Advised staff of what we'd been advised by their staff member on the Friday. Suggested to staff - how about we have the 3 tonne truck at the 2 tonne price (given it was their error, we felt that was a more than reasonable suggestion/compromise). The manager was phoned. He said no. For the sake of $10 difference in hiring the two different trucks, that is shocking goodwill/customer service, given it was their error. Wrote to the GM, explaining situation. His response was defensive and he clearly didn't read (listen) to what we said, as he even suggested we should have booked ahead!!! I replied, "we tried!!!!!". The other issue we had was upon returning the truck, we filled the petrol tank to overflowing. The company then tried to charge us another $9 to 'fill' the tank. So whilst we could have gone to another company on the day, we had time constraints so hired the more expensive truck. We will not be using this company again.

Actually 0 star!!! The worst customer service ever!! Our worst car rental experience ever!! Especially when the car was for my wedding!! They told us the windscreen wipers didnt work on the day we picked the car up on a stormy day (the day before my wedding- I booked the old London Taxi as the wedding car) with $50 discount. We had no other choice but to take it because there was simply no time to organise another car in the afternoon just before the wedding day. No need to say how hard the car was to drive, we also had to jump start it both on my wedding day (imagine the stress we had to go through), and the morning we returned it. When we complained about it to them, all they offered was another $25 off, it was a joke!!! Also the owner himself was extremely rude to me, wouldnt listen to what I had to say (he told me to 'be quiet'). I admit that I was quite emotional about what happened to us, but the poor performance of the car nearly ruined my wedding!!! It almost gave me a heart attack in the morning of the wedding day when I was told the car wouldnt start. What is the worst is their attitude towards the whole thing, especially the owner himself, they showed absolutely NO UNDERSTANDING, NO EMPATHY, NO EXPRESSION OF ANY APOLOGY. All he kept saying was 'You've used the car, you were aware of the broken windscreen wiper upon pickup, and you still took it (but we had no other choice, being the day before the wedding), we've given you a discount', in a very cold tone, and bad attitude. To me, they (especially the owner) dont value their customers at all, dont care what you say, dont care if you had a bad renting experience with them, all they want is money. I'll definitely warn all the people I know not to deal with them.
