We also have a registered Dental Hygienist / Dental Therapist in the practice. A Dental Hygienist is a qualified dental professional who will help take care of your gums, prevent oral diseases and provide treatment for existing disease, by way of scaling and polishing of teeth to remove any plaque or calculus deposits and surface staining.

20th March 2012 @firebird, i am guessing that you are or were a new customer as i have been going the Evonnes ( Kelston Dental Care ) since 1998 and have NEVER had any problems. With the regards to having no money you should budget than aye! going by your login name you were out for a fight anyway!!!!!

Kelston dental care Ltd is a private dental practice. This means they provide you a satisfactory level of service for a cost. They probably did you a favour by slotting you into their busy schedule as an emergency toothache patient and you show your gratitude by not paying and expecting to walk out?
Do you scan your groceries through the supermarket checkout and tell the store manager "hey im a good citizen so I'll pay off my grocery bill in 2days" and does s/he smile back at you?

16th August 2011 If you are having a bad day, and on top of that tooth pain, and you ask the receptionist if you can return to pay your bill in 2 days, don't expect a friendly polite respectful answer!! Instead take the hit, stammer, pay your bill, walk out and cry because now you have no money to get your prescription, or groceries, or pre-pay to ring anyone, and wonder why you ever went in the first place, because it's worse than when you walked in.
However if you are like me who has had the opportunity to find some really wonderfull New Lynn businesses who will negotiate an account, and who discover that you pay off your account on time till paid in full, you find yourself a customer they value because you do pay. And the bonus is they give you a smile that you want to return again and again.
