3rd July 2011 My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time after stumbling across it the other night. The menu had a large selection and we were lost for choice, but we opted for the banquet which gave us some of everything, the food was amazing and portions were more than enough. The price was highly reasonable and great friendly service.
Joyful Chinese Restaurant is accessibly located on Manukau Road. We have a great selection of your favourite Chinese dishes from Chicken and Pork to Beef, Seafood and Meat and Vegetable combination dishes. We also have Fried Rice, Egg Fu Yung and Chow Mein dishes and our delicious Peking Duck!
Joyful Chinese Restaurant is perfect for having a great meal with family and friends. We are able to arrange a Banquet Menu, Private Functions and Catering.

11th December 2012 Booked a large group for a Xmas dinner and as we sat to order came across that they served "SHARK FIN" soup. Knowing the process in which they cut the fin from the shark and discard the still alive shark back in to the water to drown. And this is happening in our own waters. All 14 of us walked out. Never coming back!!!

10th January 2011 The owner treats you better if you buy more expensive stuff. The food has more quality though, the wontons actually consist of a prawn each!
