Great Barrier Airlines and is associated airline Air Coromandel run scheduled services from both Auckland International Airport (Domestic Terminal) and North Shore Aerodrome. The scheduled routes flown by the two companies are an air shuttle service between Great Barrier Island and Auckland and North Shore's airports, with a minimum of 5 flights daily. Twice weekly flight between the Great Barrier Island and Whangarei and between the Great Barrier Island, and the Coromandel. Daily schedule from Auckland International Airport to Matarangi, Whitianga and airports. We also offer the option of Fly/Boat passes in conjunction with Sealink for those who want to experience the best of both worlds when they travel to the Barrier.

16th April 2011 Dreadful. The service is poor and customer service is horrible. Do not fly Great Barrier Airlines if you need to make any sort of onward connection because they change their scheduling and routes without bothering to tell anyone. Flights scheduled to go between Auckland and Great Barrier randomly get re-routed to fly via North Shore, doubling the travelling time. When flights are delayed, the airline staff are routinely rude and utterly unhelpful in providing any information. They also turn their phones off when they can't be bothered handling calls about delayed flights. Luckily there is an alternative airline for Grear Barrier island.
