I recently used Galvanising Services to Galvanise my 6 x 4 trailer. Before commiting to use Galvanising Services I phoned the company twice and was informed of the process and that it would take 3 days. This included a caustic wash to remove remaining paint on the trailer. I duly left myself 4 days in case of delay. On drop off, there was uncertainly regards the finish date as the outside provider of causitc washing company was busy. After some discussion the trailer was collected by the caustic wash company then and there (awesome). On phoning late the same week however I was informed that the trailer would not be finished on time and I should call back. These delays continued with me finally collecting the trailer some 15 days after drop off. I believe that Galvanising Services were let down by their service provider as well as some apaprent "mechanical issues" at their plant however they should have been more up front about the realistic delivery time when I called before dropping the trailer off and should have been honest along the way with their answers. They have been hard to get hold of by phone and emails are not answered at all. The galvanising finish is terrible as well and I would not use this company again.
