'Ambleside' like its namesake in England, has a typical 'olde worlde' charm. Centrally located, minutes from the CBD on S.H.6, the purpose-built, single-story guest wing is luxuriously appointed, exuding comfort, style and ambience that belie the 'little cottage' frontage. Guests have own private entrance off the deck, separate lounge and each room, beautifully appointed, has its own ensuite. Breakfasts, according to our guests, are 'second to none,' served on the deck, sunny courtyard or dining room. Choose from the extensive menu including delicious blueberry pancakes with mascarpone cheese and time you wish to dine. Settle in with a cuppa and yummy homemade baking, and complimentary refreshments including local beer and wine are served throughout your stay.

Unique to Ambleside B&B is a wildlife experience - when at dusk Kees and you if you like, will feed the tame eels in the stream at the bottom of the garden.
After a hot and strenuous day in the park, there is always the jacuzzi to melt your cares away and enjoy a glass of local wine whilst enjoying the balmy twilight.
The guest rooms tastefully decorated and individually colour co-ordinated are spacious, double-glazed and sound-proofed for peace and privacy. The lavender queen sized guest room with ensuite; the cream honeymoon suite with king bed and ensuite and the burgundy room has a superking bed and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath. Our twin king-single room also has an ensuite and all boast quality furnishings, linens, electric blankets, hair-dryers and luxury amenities etc
