3rd March 2012 My recent visit to this dentist has been a fabulous experience. The warm, friendly office staff put at ease my fears of visiting a dentist. The dentist took her time to listen to my needs and the job of cleaniing the build up of tartar was so thorough and pretty painless. The service was second-to-none. Highly recommended Dental clinic.

20th August 2012 Recently visited South Auckland dental clinic & happen to see Dr Renu. Made me feel welcomed & I really felt very comfortable. Had a normal checkup, and got some Plaque removed. Painless procedure . Dr Renu was very professional in her approach and in her work.
I would recommend Dr Renu to one and all. I would definitely go back again and will also let my friends know where to go for their dental needs.

Bedazzled
29th February 2012 Went for extraction of four wisdom teeth recently, the dental surgeon was amazing . No pain during the procedure and quickly healed after. Had to take a day off, but I thought it went really well, unlike what all my friends said it would be.

21st November 2011 My mother raves about this dentist, so if you have teeth like her, this dentist would be perfect! My mother hadn't been to the dentist in 40 years and she had built up a lot of plaque over the years, the dentists here made her feel at ease while she got her teeth cleaned. As she wasn't able to get all the plaque removed in one session, she was told to come back for a second session. All in all, this cost her $110 which she was about to claim from Work and Income (the second followup session was free).
On the other hand, I am 19 and see a dentist once a year to get my teeth cleaned. I don't have bad or dirty teeth, I'm just paranoid about developing gum disease when I am older. I get a bit of tartar build up near the gumline and like to have this cleaned. A very very very basic clean cost me $120 for 10 minutes worth of cleaning (I checked the time). This works out to $12/minute, which is extremely expensive as just the week before on TV3's Target, the average was $7/minute. The clean wasn't very good compared to my usual dentist, I went home immediately and was still able to scrape tartar off the sides of my teeth and I did not feel like I had very fresh breath (which I usually do after seeing a dentist). I was very disappointed with the cost and the service, but I do have to say that the dentist was very gentle and so he would be perfect for those who are afraid of visiting a dentist for the fear of using excessive pressure :)
My mother will return, but I will go back to my usual dentists which costs $98 for a better clean.
