24th May 2012 I am not impressed with Paul Stockman motors!! First of all I called around to all WOF service centres in Ellerslie uotes from all of them. I eventually chose Paul Stockman as they came out the cheapest quoting me $43 for a WOF. When I dropped my car off and I received my Warrant papers I had failed. No problem there as I was expecting my tyres would need replacing but I was not expecting to be failed under reasons outside of the WOF inspection. The inspector had not ticked any of the "fail" boxes and I am struggling to find the right categories on the WOF sheet to guide me as to why my car failed the warrant. Secondly, when I went to pay for my WOF the lady receptionist told me it was $49.45!!When I confronted her about it and asked her why she told me on the phone the price of a WOF was $43 she responded saying the $43 excludes GST, I told her that was cunning and unfair and she replies saying she was told to say that ($43) as it "sounds cheap". Not happy at all!!
