So frustrating dealing with these people. Being nice doesn't cover for being unreliable and disorganised. Nor does being 'nice' substitute for not knowing what you are doing. They have had 3 attempts to fix a problem with my vehicle and I still don't have the confidence to go to far in it. I dont have the money to pay for another garage to look at it yet, so I am hoping it will last until I can save a bit more. I won't be giving them another chance to fix it that is for sure.

Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Natalie is wonderful and explains everything. Mechanics do an awesome job too, reliable and quick. They make getting your car fixed easy.

Awesome customer service and a complete rejuvenation of a car that felt like it was dying! Natalie and Chris gave the BEST service and care that I have ever had sorting my car out. I have never come across someone who could tell me what was wrong with my car just by me telling a few stories about what it has been doing over a period of 4-8 months before he even looked at the car. The car now drives smoother/better than it did when I first started driving it! Highly recommended!!!

Thanks Chris and Natalie. Brilliant as usual. I should have put a review up for you ages ago. Awesome service. I don't know anything about cars or what mechanics should and shouldn't do, but all I know is that Natalie eases my mind by speaking ladies "car language", and Chris does the work and my car runs without a glitch. I hear all the horror stories about us girlies getting ripped off my mechanics and I have sent countless of my friends to Chris and Natalie and they all love it.

I have had 3 cars serviced and worked on over the last year, VW, Ford & Toyota with the same honest service always with a smile. Its nice in this day and age to receive genuine customer service. Would recommend to anyone in Auckland, I tried them after a similar recommendation

My family and I have been used Chris and Natalie for a couple of years now an wouldn't go anywhere else. chris always takes care to explain things to me, I'm at the point now where because I know nothing about cars anyway, I trust Chris just do what is required and when. I always feel safe knowing that if Chris says something need to be done, then it needs to be done. Lots of times it's gone the other way where something even though it's technically due, Chris looked at it and said no, that doesn't need to be done yet. Natalie in the office is great too. Always helpful and pleasant, and she even polished my tyres because Chris forgot !!!!. One time, they made a mistake by not rotating my tyres when I had asked, but if that is the worst thing that happens at Spargs, well that's pretty good.

Appalling service! Sparg's installed an incorrect part, rectified this but charged us for the re-do work when it was their mistake! When this was questioned, Chris was extremely rude and aggressive and refused to discuss the matter or explain their charges to us. We made independent enquiries and Sparg's had marked up their price of the part by over 50% from cost price! We strongly suggest that you look elsewhere to find a mechanic to carry out reliable and fair priced work with respectful customer service.

Our company has had our vehicles serviced and maintained by Spargs Autotune for over 7 years now. They are very very particular and we've never needed anything done in-between our scheduled services. Chris and Natalie are always really helpful, and Chris "knows his stuff" when it comes to all types of cars, we have our company Holdens, Toyotas, Volvos, Nissans and Porsches in our Fleet and all of them are done here with no worries. The whole team is great. Natalie is always friendly and helpful and really looks after us. I highly recommend Spargs Autotune. Thanks Chris, Natalie and your team. Alvin from PT Global.

I took my car in for a WOF to spargs and it failed. Luckily my brother was down from the United States who is an ASE certified master technician with almost 4 decades of experience under his belt. I was fortunate enough for him to have a look and let me know his opinion. He gave the all clear and advised that these guys were just trying to do one over on my naiveness on cars. As a result I took it into VTNZ and let them know about this and the passed it with no issues at all. The inspector told me that some dishonest mechanics like to generate work for themselves by failing WOFs. Everything about this place is dishonest, from the way they generate work to the reviews on this website. Just have a look when ever someone places poor feedback, there is a sudden influx of the "glowing reviews" all worded in a similar fashion and then these reviews stop coming in for along time until another person submits poor (honest) feedback. Obviously this should arouse suspicion.

I took my Jag in for a service somewhat apprehensively as I had always used the Jaguar agent rather than a local north shore mechanic, but the overall experience was fantastic, and the Jag, its never run better, Chris pointed out that he always uses the oils recommended by the manufacturer and the result was a reduction in my petrol consumption and 'heaps' more power. The automotive service was carried out in a very short period of time, just long enough to be handed a cup of coffee and observe all of the certificates on the walls. Definitely recommend their service to anyone. the cost was a lot less that what I would normally pay! thanks Chris & Natalie and all the team at spargs

This a very friendly and helpful family car servicing firm with a receptionist who always goes the extra mile for her customers. The mechanical expertise is superb and we get our cars serviced and warranted here whenever possible.

I had a transmission replaced. I was overcharged, failed to inform me of the additional expense and had to literally beg to find out what I am paying for. They couldn't even explain why the price of fluids had increased by 1.5 times. On collection of the car the steering wheel was crooked i.e didn't point straight. When this was brought to Chris' attention he threw the biggest hissy fit a fully grown man could throw. He pulls me deeper into the workshop so bystanders wouldn't be able to witness the verbal abuse he dished out at me, an innocent teenager, which was so violent I left without any comments fearing for my safety. His true personality was seen today looking into his rage-filled bloodshot eyes. You have all been warned. That said Natalie is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is always cool, calm and collected maintaining a friendly / courteous and professional manner with prompt communication answering all questions to the best of her ability. And all the employees seem to be great friendly guys. It's a real shame that this slob lets down his whole team.

I needed a North Shore mechanic desperately one rainy night because my car decided the indicators an windscreen wipers were not required even though I was driving home in the dark. Natalie from Spargs Auto Tune arrived to rescue me after my distress call! After sorting a courtesy car an getting my wheels to the mechanics workshop, Natalie and the Spargs team provided an efficient service an had me back on the road within 48hours, panic free! I would definitely recommend Spargs auto tune to anyone needing any kind of auto service. Reliable service 5 stars!!! :)

Every time I need a North Shore Mechanic I go to these guys & I leave happy. I come in for a free WoF thanks to my Automax card and even if I pass with no repairs they are always so pleasant. I have recommended them to my whole family now. Sue

my exprience was really bad,this guys don t know what customer service is,their boss is a really a rude guy,i had something repaired payed 600$ and it didn t work,i definetly not going back.thanks
