Come and visit the unspoiled West Coast only three hours north of Auckland.

Go for a swim in the crystal clear Kai Iwi Lakes. Walk the six hour tramp over the Maunganui Bluff along the beach to the Lakes. Take a bike to the Trounson Kauri Park. Enjoy the peace and quiet of Kaihu Farm. See the glow worms in our bush at night.

Our hostel is the nearest hostel to the giant kauri trees. Ten minutes drive from the beach. An ideal place to unwind and to recover from your jet lag or to prepare for your flight home, or to rest up after your long flight to New Zealand.
