12th February 2007 Went in summer, really busy, small delay but was advised, great service and food was excellent. We enjoyed the views and relaxed. Dinner was a totally different experience, live back ground music, no delays, great food and service.
17th January 2014 Now calls itself Four Seasons.
Unfortunately the name change hasn't made much difference. We came as a party of for adults and three children wanting only coffee and fluffies for the children. Although advised there would be a bit of a delay we left after thirty minutes and went elsewhere. At a peak holiday time I find it amazing that there is not a dedicated staff member dealing only with coffee requests. Fantastic views do not compensate for abysmal service. After querying what was happening we found that the waitress had forgotten what we had ordered !
And at this point we left.
If you are contemplating a visit to Onetangi I suggest you use Charley Farleys just down the road.

29th October 2010 Cannot recommend this cafe.
Our tasteless fishcakes were burned on the bottom and almost raw on the top. The chunky chips accompaniment were pale and soggy. The waitress said she would let the kitchen know and that was the last we saw of her. A real pity as the setting is beautiful. Suggest you stick to the coffee and a muffin.

9th February 2007 Thank you for your feed back, without feed back we are not able to improve our service, it is valuable. Unfortunatly when the restaurant is full there could be delays from 1/2 hour to 1 hour. Staff are advised to inform customers of this. I will remind staff how important this is. The location is so beautiful a lot of our clients don't mind delays and enjoy the relaxing view of Onetangi Beach. Should you be in a hurry please advise the staff.
