These guys sorted out a problem we had with our V6 Holden gearbox in our toyota Van. Excellent job. Very helpful and reasonably priced.

This company was recommended to me to sort out a problem with a CVT gearbox. I popped in on the Friday after Christmas - they were open. Keith was unavailable but my number was taken and he phoned me a short while later. I described the problem which he diagnosed and arranged for the car to be given the required gearbox flush the following Monday, the last Monday of the year. The job was done, in the time promised and at the price promised. I am very happy with the professionalism, courtesy and care everyone I spoke to at the firm showed. Even though it was a small job on a private car, they did a great job at a time of the year when everyone is in holiday mode.

I run a high volume service dept,ive found these guys to be the best,theres nothing they cant fix,or rebuild,there drop off and pick service is secound to none,i fully recommend these guys,ive given them some difficult jobs and nothing is to difficult.

At Lumley Insurance, we have used The Gearbox Factory in East Tamaki for many years and have found their service beyond reproach. The staff, headed by owner Keith Lane, are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Their costs are always competitive and they are most helpful with honest advice if needed. The staff have been constant for many years and consequently, have a huge background of knowledge. Before I worked at Lumleys (over 13 years ago) I was Service Manager at Multi franchise Service Centres and we always used and recommended The Gearbox Factory for this reason. Richard Sisler
