21st February 2010 At the time of our stay it was under going renovation. Situated in a great spot, it is set up so that you can not hear the traffic-because of the design of the rooms. There is potential for this place to be very nice with added care taken in the furnishings.
Large room, comfortable beds, clean and modern.
Sadly, the carpark is a tight squeeze and not many spaces. The restaurant below the hotel (not part of the hotel) connects to the entrance via the back, and the smell of the kitchen and it's waste is very off-putting. Its smell does get to the accomodation upstairs.
The room kitchenette is ok, but there is actually no bench top space at all to make drinks.
I expect this place will be popular, great value, and a lot of potential. I hope it meets that potential quickly.
