In my over 55+ yrs, never come across such incompetency and poor management backup.
Tried this firm for standard WOF, a cambelt and a problem with really bad sluggish running.
Nearly $3000 later got WOF and cam belt but still running badly.
Replaced nearly entire brake system when my past paperwork proved all had been done only 50 k ago.
Their approach to the poor running was to methodically replace parts until they came across the problem - which they weren't capable of.
Going by the hourly labour rate I got charged they spent approx 20 hrs on my work ute.
When you protest your case of disgust
they stand their ground and with smiles on their faces
FYI another mechanic got the ute running sweet - timing had gone out badly also found a thrashed out driveshaft support bearing that should never have got past a WOF. What does that say about Automotive Services and competency
