Millennium nocturnal park is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit.
Drop in a few hours or stay for a night or two using our modernized cottage or campervan facilities . We are ideally located between 2 famous attractions in New Zealand : The Bay of islands, Ninety Mile beach and Cape Reinga , only 8km from State Highway 1, 15km from Kaitaia town centre and 22km from Taipa and State Highway 10.
The Park has 73 hectares of Feng Shui land which is covered by several hills, 3 large wetland projects underway, Kiwi specimen display house, special Glowworm cave and grottos and chalet style service building complex.
By day enjoy a scenic walk through natural bush, with a rocky stream meandering through unusual rock formations. Native plants, insects and birds abound, especially the cave weta and glowworms, in a cave designed for daytime viewing.
By night a guided tour takes you into the fascinating night world of New Zealand bush and rivers , including an extensive and dramatic display of GLOWWORMS. (Highly Recommended) you will be totally impressed.
We invite you to make use of our facilities:
