River Rats Raft & Kayak have been offering quality adventures for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on a safety first culture and our attention to detail.
Theres something for everyone, from a gentle grade 2 scenic raft trip suitable for participants as young as 5, through to full on grade 5 action featuring the worlds highest commercially rafted waterfall.
Kayaking is available as freedom hire or a guided tour. Paddle the local lakes to a secluded beach or enjoy a hot water swim only accessible by boat.
Kaituna (Grade 5) Awesome, with a 21ft waterfall.
Wairoa (Grade 5) Wild, Full on action. Runs selected Sundays from September to May
Rangitaiki (Grade 3 - 4) Adventurous, Fun & Beautifully Scenic
Rangitaiki (Grade 2) A scenic trip for families or the less adventurous.
Tongariro (Grade 3) Fabulous scenery, fun for everyone
Kayaking Freedom hire and guided tours available on the local lakes.
Teambuilding
River Rafting and Kayaking require most of the attributes contained in a traditional team building program. We can also customise team building programs either on or off the water to suit a companys individual goals. References available.
