At Kip McGrath Education Centres we are aware that for children to be successful they must first experience success.

Many of the students who come to Kip McGrath Education Centres are frustrated, and as a result, have stopped trying. Our centres create a warm, friendly environment where children are comfortable with us and find that they can not only learn, but can actually enjoy the process of learning.

Our aim is to help your child gain confidence and achieve success at school now, knowing that these skills lead to greater success in the future.

Most gratifying is the fact that school teachers often comment on the huge improvement shown by students who attend Kip McGrath.

We specialise in teaching students Maths, English, Reading, Spelling and Comprehension to students from Year 1 to Adults, but can cater for some extra subjects for the Secondary students.

Children are given an individualised programme tailored to their needs. For example, if your child is participating in the new numeracy and literacy initiatives then account is taken of that and the programme adjusted accordingly. As your child achieves goals and new education needs arise, their programme will be modified.

One of the reasons our approach is so effective is that each student works on their individualised programme within a small group setting. An immediate benefit of the group is that, at the outset, each child appreciates that they are not alone in their need for extra support and tutoring. Students quickly develop a sense of achievement and discover that learning is not only rewarding - it's fun!

In each 80-minute session we use a variety of multimedia resources, including computers, audio tapes, books and work sheets, all of which help motivate children to succeed.
