8th September 2010 Once I arrived and I gave the man working my ticket and he couldn't find my shoes in the 'done' section. He went to go look in the back and found them but they still had to be polished and finished. I asked the man why they weren't ready, being that I was to pick them up last week Thursday. He told me that 'if I was to come back here ever again I need to learn to have patients'. I then inspected my shoes to ensure they were repaired well and then he criticised me, asking why I needed to check them over. I told him that I want to make sure they have been repaired properly, which they weren't. The edges were not smoothed and the bottom was not level.
To top off the rude and horrible service form the store owner and my shoes not repaired very well at all, I had to then pay $60.
A word of advice, don't take your shoes to be repaired at Takapuna Shoe Repairs.
