15th July 2010 While I have generally been a little disheartened by the Portofino franchise, the Meadowbank restaurant is an exception. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the setting is intimate, parking isnt an issue, and never have i eaten such good Gnocchi in such a rich, meaty ragu.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting a quiet, high quality, affordable casual dining experience in Aucklands inner East suburbs.
27th August 2010 My favourite place for Italian food. Fantastic service. Well priced menu. I think the venue may be more suited to smaller sized groups (less than 10) but is still great. Parking available nearby.
