Great food, very tasty, great service,
been here a couple of times now & had banquet meals with groups.
Would happily suggest for groups / work functions or even just dinner for two.

Nice food but the dessert is pretty poor. We had set menu, overall food was nice delicious, but the dessert is a waste of money n time!!

Against the odds this restaurant has survived - the odds being prolonged major roadworks out side the premises - a recession and the rocky fickleness of tourism. This all indicates how lovely the food is. This business will always survive because of the loyal local following it has had over the years. I don't know the owners but they are a lovely hardworking couple. I really enjoy taking guests to Napier there for a meal. This week the wait time for take away meals was a while - but hey it was Saturday night - the restaurant was packed and all in little old Napier before the tourist season begins!
