At Mexicali Fresh we specialise in the freshest, tastiest California style Mexican food.
All of our salsas, meats, vegetables and chips are prepared daily, so you can be sure the ingredients of your meal are as fresh as they possibly can be.
We are fully licensed and we stock a range of New Zealand and Spanish beers, as well as an impressive selection of tequilas. There are even icy cold margaritas, if the fancy takes you.
Settle in with an cold cerveza, watch our surfing videos and you could almost be in California!
Our menus includes tacos and taco salads, quesadillas and burritos. Plus, we give you the option of building your own.
Most menu items are in the $10 to $15 price range.

5th April 2011 After moving to NZ from the states, I was really disappointed by the lack of quality options for Mexican food in Auckland. That is, until MexiCali Fresh opened up. Authentic Mexican, prepared with the freshest ingredients right before your eyes, and at such reasonable prices too! This casual restaurant is definitely set to become a big hit in the big little city.

11th November 2010 Great view of the Harbour while seating outdoor / indoor. Great food, unlimited salsa sauce for your chips, bottomless soft drinks when you buy a cup. And if you join their Havana club on their website, you'll get a free taco to give you a headstart upon sign up and (they claim) a free main during your bday.

1st October 2010 Definitely exceeded my expectations. This is fast food, after all. We had a friend's birthday there and the staff were fantastic. They had a pinata and a sectioned-off area and really made it a good night. There's so little Mexican food in Auckland, so it's great to have this good option available. It's simple, yummy food and it's a good option when you're after a cheap easy meal that is a lot better than a drive-thru!

30th September 2010 Excellent Mexican food. I'm originally from the States, so I'm familiar with Mexican style restaurants. This one surpassed my expectations (and cravings).

4th November 2008 Image Subway with beer, chili and surf videos. Mexicali Fresh is a 'salad bar' style tex-mex style restaurant. I recommend the Nachos, Burritos and Bohemia Beer!
