3rd October 2010 What great food, they have the best prawns. Always friendly staff, quick service and lots and lots to eat. The $25 set menu is to die for.

10th October 2011 Always a great meal out. The Japanese Chilli Chicken and the Spicy King Prawns I think are the best things on the menu. This is one of our group of friends favourite paces. The food is excellent the service is always friendly and accommodating.

14th October 2010 I have been here many times, its great for group dining. The table tops move so there is no leaning over others to get to the dish you want etc. The sizzling steak with special sauce is delicious! The satay chicken is a favourite also. Well priced and lovely staff. The one downfall would be the noise levels, when they are full up which is often it can be quite hard to hear someone on the other side of the table.

4th October 2010 If you're looking for good 'value for money' Asian dining, you can't go wrong here. The only thing I'd list as a slight negative is that they're so popular the place can sometimes get a bit crowded. However service is timely, friendly and attentive and the food is great. One of our regular haunts.

2nd July 2010 I second that Honesty Jane! I was delighted to find this Chinese restaurant after my favourite place finally closed after decades! Everything we ordered (as a takeaway) was delicious, fresh and very tasty. Glad we ordered ahead by phone, they were crazy busy.

3rd December 2009 I would respond to "Ultravex's" review (above) with the question "Why are they always so busy then?"
This is not haute cuisine nor fine dining as the decor and prices would attest to, but it is tasty simple Chinese food that kiwis love.
A good fast takeaway, a simple sit down meal with no dishes to do and for a good price. If you are not an MSG fan then do what we do and ask for less or none to be added.
Please get off your high horse Ultravex and unclench!

3rd September 2009 This place ranks amongest in the lower echelon of Chinese restaurants in Christchurch. the food is not very good and they use too much MSG. Bland setting, nothing special to offer.
What great food, they have the best prawns. Always friendly staff, quick service and lots and lots to eat. The $25 set menu is to die for.
