4th November 2010 If you love steak then this is the place for you. Have been here numerous times and have they definately have the best cuts of steak in town, cooked to your personal taste. Salad bar is great but really your going there for the steak so thats whats important

15th September 2010 Angus Steak House is impeccable from start to finish. It was well hidden and would not have found it had my brother not taken me there. But my visit there was really good that I'd never forget how to get there.
I love that I'm able to select the type of cut I want - I can see what steak cuts are available. I chose a juicy-looking ribeye. They cooked my steak just the way I want it - simple joy but it really hit the right spot. No better place to enjoy a steak. The salads and sides were lovely, mouthwatering and complement the robust flavour of the meat.
The atmosphere was really cozy and it's perfect for a great meal with the family. Service is top class and the staff were quite helpful and attentive. Deserves more than 5 stars!!!

7th September 2010 Although secluded in the back alley of Fort Lane, Angus steak house surely does present itself as a classy, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The food is very well priced, a set price for an enormous steak and a salad bar which is buffet style. The meat is cooked exactly to your liking; rare is rare, nothing else. Seasoning is applied meticulously, however the only thing you may complain about is the lack in variety. Still, a very professional staff, and the chef is a pleasure to talk to. Recommended for fun, for everyone.

19th July 2010 Now this place is a goodie,If you are after a decent steak,awesome seating and a great salad bar then look no further. Angus steakhouse delivers.A Variety of steaks to choose from and a all you can eat salad bar.I dont know why you would go anywhere else.

16th July 2010 This place is an icon! We take visitors here all the time. I'm always tempted to take the rump steak, it seems to overlap the sides of the plate, now THAT is a steak! Go here & you won't be disappointed.

15th June 2009 Took my lovely lady here one evening, looking for a nice cut of tasty steak - boy did I find it!
The decor is simple and rustic, looked like it might be a little cramped at first, but everyone was able to move around easily in the laid back atmosphere.
We were guided to our seats and ordered a drink until we were ready to choose our steak. When they were ready for our order, we strolled over to the in-set fridge behind the salad bar and chose our steaks. Massive things they were! I was there for that delicious Angus flavour but I wanted to make sure I had all the meat I desired - I went for a nice scotch fillet instead of the eye fillet. My lady had the (huge) pork chop. I was almost tempted to get the rump steak - but I am not a puma or other predatory, land-dwelling carnivore (Looked like a whole lotta meat).
We ate some salad while the meat was cooking, salads were rather plain tasting but there were plenty of different dressings to choose from. I was going to get mashed potatoes with my steak but they'd ran out - didn't mind too much, it was all about the steak for me - grabbed another plate of salad instead ;).
My steak was delicious (served with garlic pepper that we chose while ferrying our meat to the grill), a little bit rare for my preferred med-rare, but they were quick to offer a fresh sizzling plate which added just the right amount of extra cooking. Delicious, tender, buttery steak. All in all really quite enjoyable!
One star missing for the lack of mashed potatoes and the overall cost (2 ppl steak and salad = $30 a-piece, plus 2 drinks each brings it to around $100) I'm definitely going back - may stick to water though lol.
