10th November 2015 Very disappointed.
I needed a spray tan for our son's wedding in Australia in November 2015 so booked 7 weeks ahead. Did a trial spray tan in October (4 weeks ahead) to make sure all ok. I was very specific about the reason for booking and the trial tan. On the day of my appointment I hadn't received a text to confirm my appointment, so called to check everything was ok - I had to leave a message.
Got a txt back an hour before my appointment time to say doing renovations and their floor was wet so could not do my spray tan. Happy to give me a 50% discount though if i booked another time. Really!!! I'm flying out the next morning at 6 am. Tried to call and went to voicemail - tried to txt and nothing.
I was very disappointed and called another Spa in Lower Hut. Astra Health and Beauty Lower Hutt were amazing and managed to fit me in at short notice.
Txt Ataahua explaining how disappointed I was and said I had found somewhere else. Asked them to remove me from their database and all I got back was, "OK sorry about that! Totally understand!" Really, I booked 7 weeks ahead and this was the response. While not a regular customer I had been there before!. I would not recommend them at all and when telling friends about my experience it would seem I am not alone - there have been other disappointed customers. Book at you peril!!!
