The best in Auckland. There is no other then this place. Even their Naan is like.... Heaven. Love them.

first time we went here, was a great great great meal, we both tried something new and really enjoyed it. Staff and service great, decor wonderful,cost really affordable everything just great. Highly recommend!!

Chapati is the type of place that winds up being a local for people who live 20kms away. Located in an unassuming string of shops this place delivers top quality food in the form of rich and delicious curries, moorish Naans and accompaniments which rival the main dish stars. Try the Lamb Sagwala or the Aloo Gobi. And yes they also do a great butter chicken. Chapati are one of the few Indian restaurants who seem to be able to satisfy a mild palette for my wife and a spicy palette for me. Oh and as it's BYO wine make sure you take your own favorite tipple with you!

My partner and I have been there near on a dozen times, fantastic food for sure. First place that really knows what spicy is. Service is brilliant. Only thing Negative I guess is the Jim Beam on the rocks was watered down or just not Jim Beam. Hence I do not get alcohol there. All in all a definite 8/10. I have recommended to many people and they hold the same views as myself. Thanks to the staff

Best Indian Place in Auckland (Trust me we've been to plenty) Lovely and warm restaurant with comfy seats. Staff are awesome. Big shout out to Ileane who is always happy. See you again very soon. (once we get a voucher from the super dockets.)

Best Indian Resturant in West Auckland! We are regulars at Chapati, I love their food. My favouite is the tandori platter entree and the chicken tikka masala. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Yummy! What a treasure and a find in West Auckland. The ambience and the service in a suburban restaurant was surprisingly fabulous and the food, oh my what can I say but it is the best. We just keep going back. This is a great restaurant dining for two or for the family.

TO DIE FOR!!! This was the yummiest Indian food I have ever had. The service was also great, the menu extensive (without being too overwhelming) and although we went in the middle of the week, the place was fully booked- that's always a good sign. Can't wait to go back.

We decided to try this restaurant as the aroma from the outside was so tempting. We did not regret our decision. The food was fantastic and fulfilled all the promises made by the enticing aroma from the street. The service was thoughtful and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING. We went there with an extended family group, have never been so well catered for in terms of quantity & quality of food. The owner/manager even came out for a walk around & chat. We will be back soon, recommended to all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this place. We were recommended by a friend and I haven't regretted it once. My partner & I like dining authentic so waiting for a meal that is made from scratch is the least of our worries especially when it is of high quality. As the saying goes 'Quality' tends to rule over 'Quantity'. The pricing is reasonable considering what you get. A lot of effort put into good cooked meals. The people I found had a very friendly manner. Big Ups.

They have the best naan it big thick and fluffy it is traditionally cooked grounded into stone and then put into the oven thats how it tastes anyway we ordered 2 dishes that were nicely spiced and offered good value service wasnt that great we couldnt eat in because they had a function and we had to go up and ask if our meals were ready as they were just sitting there. Quite pricy as well for 2 naan and 2 curries it was $40 but ya cant compromise on quality if you want good kai.
