IRIS is a professional healthcare social enterprise providing specialist services to New Zealanders with physical and intellectual disabilities, injuries or health concerns of all ages.

Formerly Focus 2000, the organisation was born out of the Cerebral Palsy Society, a Society created over 50 years ago by a group of parents driven by the lack of services and support available to them.

Equipped with skilled staff, best practice models and the latest technology, IRIS works in partnership with people, their families and their communities to help people to be the very best they can be.

Services that IRIS provides includes:

IRIS Community Living
Offering 24 hour support in home environments for people with physical or intellectual disabilities. IRIS Community Living works in partnership with people, their families and the local community to help people live an ordinary life.

IRIS Conductive Education
Early childhood education for children with cerebral palsy and motor disorders. IRIS Conductive Education works in partnership with parents to teach children skills so they can live a full, happy and productive life.

IRIS Medi-Call
Professional and reliable nursing for people affected by an injury. IRIS Medi-Call specialises in wound care, foot care and offers at-home nursing support 365 days a year.

IRIS Rehabilitation
Working in partnership with people affected by disability or injury to achieve their personal goals. IRIS Rehabilitation offers an extensive range of group and individual therapies encompassing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, art, drama, sports and mobility.

IRIS Support
Supporting people in their own homes and within their communities. IRIS Support works alongside people to enable them to live at home and participate in the community with as much independence as possible.
