Food to me is like art - I may not know much about it but I know what I like. Sabato isn't just a shop selling artisan foods; the people there make the place. They have in-depth knowledge and a passion bordering on an infectious enthusiasm. I find there that I don't get just buy a product, I get at least a story too. I'm a bit of a foodie-newbie and the service there really makes me go back. They seem genuinely excited about it all and that rubs off. Like the recipes and the 'what goes with what' and the coffee and the chats. They don't just buy products from the Italian version of Pak N Save and ship them here and call them classy cos its Italian; it is the real deal. not just a shop but an immersion in a very different shopping experience.
