The Wishing Chair is a company that prides itself on designing and creating quality, long-lasting furniture for kids. All furniture is made in New Zealand by our fantastic team of cabinet makers.

Our aim for The Wishing Chair is to provide children with quality, fun, long lasting furniture that will grow with them and not grow out of date!

We are a family run business in beautiful Whakatane. We are members of the Master Joiners Association and have been custom building kitchens for the last ten years. Having three children ourselves and building furniture for their rooms we decided to start making childrens furniture for everyone!
