At Acupuncture Plus we provide far more than just acupuncture - all of us are trained in more than one modality - so we mix and match what we feel you may need in a session. As an example - it is highly likely that some massage plays a part in your treatment whether you have booked in for acupuncture or naturopathy.

Heather Bruce has been working with acupuncture for over 30 years and has perfected simple and effective ways that you can be shown to help yourself - using massage and moxa in your own home - to cut down the number of visits you need to make to pay for help - from anyone.

We are all more than a physical body. We feel through it - and when we are upset, the structure goes out of alignment - and often just attending to the pain on in the body can igore the real spiritual, emotional and even psychic pain we also feel.

The mechanical models of modern medicine can tend to ignore the feelings we all live in and through. Taking a pill to silence our distress often is not all we need. The use of the physical to validate needing help often works against us - as it is often our soul/our heart/our centre that is not at peace. Using the bio medical model rather than an energy one means that it can all work against healing - as it is not JUST the body parts that are hurting. As the spirit/heart/energy model is where we work from, feeling better at all levels is needed to really make a difference.
