I've chosen to repair my crashed BMW at Golden Gun because of the workshop's good reputation. What I didn't know is that Golden Gun was taken over by a new manager Norm Shadbolt in 2007. The workshop was incompetent and not knowing any better at the time I ended up having to buy a replacement bonnet and personally carting the bumper to a bumper repair workshop. The car was returned to me dirty and the panel gaps were atrocious - the bonnet was very noticeably higher above the headlight on one side compared to the other. I've taken the car back to them. After the second try the gaps were still horrific - 13mm on one side of the bonnet and 2mm on another. The bumper was screwed on with long metal screws that were just driven through plastic and not through mounting holes. Had to take the car to someone else to make it look acceptable. Staff attitudes were very poor - Norm was dishonest with me and the panelbeater working on the car spoke hatefully when I asked him basic questions. The photo of my blue BMW is on Golden Gun web site. I wouldn't trust Golden Gun with a wheelbarrow.
