pureORAwalks offer a fusion of Maori culture and education all pulled together with story-telling, experiential learning, environmental sensitivity and using the senses of sight, sound, touch, taste and smell.

There are 3 core products available;
,Nature-Culture Walks are day walks of 3 " 6 hours duration. Three native forests surrounding Lake Taupo provide natural environments for local guides to share a relaxing, stress free, informative, interactive and entertaining walk that is supported by the beauty and peace of nature.

,Overnight & Under the Stars are multi day walks of 1 " 3 nights. In a remote location in the Central North Island, accessed by SH41, there are 2 cabins in privately owned forests available for those who need more than just one day in paradise. It is private, exclusive and secluded. A range of activities are available at your leisure. And wine and dine in a peaceful atmosphere with local hosts.

,pureORAwalks newest product ~Tongariro Alpine Crossing-Get Over It! On this guided hike guests hear local stories, such as the love story that caused a rift between the mountains. They will learn about volcanoes, experience raw nature and see magnificent sights, and take great photos. All of this is done in a stress free manner aided by the pureORAwalks guides, all of whom are Maori and have a strong affinity with the mountain Tongariro.
