27th May 2012 Half star was minimum I had to give. Most incompetent people I ever encountered.
Went for passport photos. $20 paid upfront. I pointed out that the white screen they sat me in front of needed to be off white - specification set by passport office. They said they would correct the colour in processing. - 1st doubt entered my head
They used hand-held compact digital cameras using 3 seperate cameras and about 5 shots from each to get a result - 2nd doubt entered my head.
They sent me away for 10 minutes while processing - 3rd doubt - and when I came I back waited 15 more minutes before they went in the back to process the photos.
They trimmed the photos, stuck them in the envelope without me seeing them - 4th doubt - so I checked them.
During the colour correction they washed out the colour so much it looked like they photographed a ghost. The blue shirt I was wearing looked white. I questioned this. They argued the photos were acceptable and blue was difficult to photograph. Hogwash!!! The woman I spoke to took great exception to my complaint. So I went to the post office to have more photos taken and they did a super job of it.
If you want passport photos don't use Kodak Express Newmarket. Go to the post office.
