A beautiful, unique and unspoiled area, with walks, fishing, lots of spectacular beaches, swimming, surfing, surf at the famous ocean beach or wind surf on the inner harbour, kayaking ,diving and more....
Salt- quality accommodation is 1/2 a hour drive from Whangarei cbd, a beautiful drive beside the waters edge almost all the way to us, and when you arrive wow, the views are amazing, we are situated on the ocean side looking from the poor knight islands to the hen and chickens and beyond. We have 2 completely separate apartments, which are self/catering, with everything you could think of in the kitchen with a view. The bathroom also has a view, is a large wet room,with shower and separate toilet.Large king size bed where you can watch the sun rise from or just lie there and take in the view.
Free 2 view tv, dvd,cd. At the office, magazines, books, dvd and cd library .Also available wireless internet. Comfortable lazy boy chair and 2 seater sofa all in leather. With dining table and 2 chairs.The decor is contemporary and everything cleaned to the highest level with your comfort and enjoyment in mind.Outdoors there is 2 relaxing loungers, and outdoor table and chairs,your own barbecue as well.Up above the apartments is a outdoor spa also with amazing day time views or just relax at night and look at the stars with a glass or 2 of bubbles.Colin knows the area well as having been born and lived here most of his life, Lynette is also a kiwi who has lived in Whangarei since 1971.So they both can advise where and what to do in the area. Cafe/rest and local club about 6 mins drive away with the tavern about 15 mins drive away, for something special to celebrate we have top sail 25mins back to town at Onerahi. Taxi service is also available at the heads.Supermarket on the way to us at Onerahi and a grocery store at Parua bay and Taurikura store.
