Cairnmuir Motor Camp is a quiet family orientated camping ground set on the banks of the Bannockburn Arm of lake Dunstan, just 8kms south of Cromwell township.
We offer both powered and non powered sites for caravans, motorhomes, buses and tents.
In addition we have standard cabins suitable for backpackers.
Our camp is idylically situated amongst 5 award winning vineyards. The Bannockburn Inlet is the perfect spot for safe family boating and swimming, canoeing, fishing and lots of family fun during the hot Otago summers.
At the camp we have a great amenities block, with kitchen, laundry, shower, toilet facilities with wheelchair and disabled access. Although we are 8kms away from Cromwell township we are close enough for your daily needs yet far away enough to be in another world.
The surrounding scenery around the Bannockburn Inlet is picture perfect no matter what the season.
Our rates vary, depending on the time of year.
We welcome "seasonal workers" who come in to stay to experience either the stone fruit picking, eg cherries, just before Christmas and then later towards Easter who visit just in time for grape harvesting.
