2nd February 2013 Went to La Porchetta while holidaying in Auckland in January 2013. Great food - fabulous pasta and pizza. We all loved it - the kids chose it and we are so pleased they did. Service was very good as well. They couldn't supply one of the desserts one of our children ordered because a freezer broke down so his replacement was on the house. You can't do better than that. Would certainly go back again and again. In fact our kids want us to open one in Palmerston North!!

22nd May 2013 **COMPLAINT**
We visited your store today at 1.oopm it was quiet only 6 people (iwonder why?)ordered our meals and waited an hour & half before I asked what happened to our pizza order? the waitress and man behind counter didnt even cooked our order, his kitchen clean and our order not found, we showed our frustrations by yawning the waitress didnt even check and the group of 4 girls behind us got their pizza 30mins after we arrived!!! Angry we will never returned and review this on FB and youtube. No apology just to wait while he makes it up I said NO! we waited long enough and charged us $22 coffee and garlic bread Never Aagain!

25th April 2013 A friend recommended the place to me a year ago. Since then I am somewhat of a regular. Excellent value for money, great food and the staff / service are good.

10th February 2012 I am an Asian and love this place. back then in 2003 when I work @City almost eat there once a week. The pizza and pasta are prefect, just sometime the place a bit hot in summer...now working @ city will go there again.

29th January 2012 Good and yummy food, plus nice and friendly staff, but the restaurant doesn't have parking available for customers.
Parking your car on the street is the only option!

26th July 2010 A great place for a tasty CHEAP pizza or pasta. If you're looking for an economical Italian night out, La Porchetta is your best bet. The service is also pretty fast so it works well as a pre-movie dinner. The only reason it falls down the star rankings for me is the music which seems to fall into the dance heavy beat category every time I've been there, not my favourite digestion music.

14th July 2010 La Porchetta is a fantastic restaurant. Very reasonably priced, quick service and the food is exceptional!! I have probably dined here around 10 times.
It does get busy after 6.00 on Fridays and Saturdays and I have had to wait for 15 minutes for a table. I have always had a good dining experience at La Porchetta. Definitely will go back :)
