Trade Qualified Builders and members of the Certified Builders Association of NZ, md construction Ltd currently employs a building staff of five and carries out all aspects of the building trade.
We specialise in all architectural housing, alterations and additions and commercial work. We offer our clients complete project management - from suppliers to sub-contractors, allowing your building project to be as stress and hassle free as possible.

Personal Profile of Mark Dobbs:
After completing my apprenticeship in 1992, I spent time building in the U.K, then returned to take up a position as foreman carpenter with a large Whangarei building company, progressing through to company supervisor.
In 1998, my wife Tracey and I established md construction employing five builders.
In 2005 I became the Whangarei regional president for the Certified Builders Association of NZ.
I was then elected to the board of directors in June 2009 as the Northland board representative. Part of this role involves supporting the Whangarei and Far North regional presidents as well as working with my fellow board members on industry matters. Part of this role is my involvement with the ITAB Apprenticeship Training Scheme with NorthTec which ensures the highest quality apprenticeship training for the up and coming tradesmen of tomorrow.
I am passionate about the building trade and enjoy the challenges and satisfaction that this provides.
