30th September 2010 We came to this unexpected oasis of calm at the end of a cul de sac off Whiteleigh Avenue in Addington. After a spur of the moment decision to dine out, we found ourselves watching fountains playing in front of a delicate sunset, being offered a superb amuse-bouche of smoked groper with a creamy leek foam, feasting on delicately seared scallops with a mouth-tinglingly delicious citrus salad, washed down with a fruity little Riesling and relaxing for the first time since 4th September! Then I munched into a melt in your mouth pork belly, while himself feasted on lamb noisettes, both with a delicious delicate gravy. The desserts were a work of art, with flavours of raspberry sherbet, a chocolate fondant that oozed chocolate, caramelised peanuts.....mmmmm my mouth is watering at the memory.
At Edesia we offer beautiful food containing many classic flavours, presented in a modern manner. To match, a wine list of over 200 wines from around the world, and a collection of boutique beers, fine cognacs, armagnacs and whiskies, to truly satisfy your palate.
4th November 2010 this is an amazing place to go during the summer, its very unheard of but you will not be disappointed by the quality of the food and service. defiantly a must if your a fan of fine wine's!
