18th January 2010 We have been going to this bakery since it opened. It has the best bread - including a great gluten free loaf, pastries, filled rolls (made to order) and cakes including croque en bouche. There is a place to sit in fine weather and you can watch the tui in the tree as you sip your tea and coffee. The staff are all bakers so know they can answer any questions about the product, or help with your own baking issues. I know one man who went there for a day of bread making. The chefs explained what they were doing and my mate enjoyed his hands-on experience.
Artisan Bread and Pastry in the European traditions. On site 'window shop' - to purchase our delights and see the chefs in action. Catering and special occasion cakes. Weekend and special event stalls such as farmers' markets and fundraisers.
