Bought a 2014 Foton from here. when i picked it up to drive to auckland i got to huntly and alarms went off for tire pressure. So i called Will and he said there was nothing he could do till monday as the mechanic didn't work sat. He then said to go to botany to get it fixed. ten minuts later he called back stating that botany was not going to fix it and that he was getting the mechanic back so i had to turn around and come back. mechanic fixed it and we headed off again only to get up the road and all the dash lights started flashing. turned around again this time the mechanic sorted it but will left me to deal with the mechanic because he wanted to make a sale with another customer. When we finally got home started noticing things all over the car that were wrong. first there was buffing marks all over the car and cutting paste which will told me would come off with elbow grease. then i find rust under the bonnet. the plastics all uv damaged/bleached and no cruise control. I was meant to have a brand new 2014 foton tunland luxuary 4x4. what i got a no km 2013 model as they wouldn't show me the build or delivery date. the car was so filthy. the one positive is i took so many photos of the issues and the rust the lichen/moss that they refunded me the full amount. I originally was very thankful. but I now realize that it cost me so much time multiple trips to hamilton and ruined the experience of buying my first brand new car. I would happily show the photos to anyone if they want. I feel sorry for whoever ended up with that vehicle.
