Tuis Rest is a 100 year old villa located in the beautiful bay of plenty it enjoys amazing weather and is nestled in 1800 sq meters of parklike grounds and within10 mins walk to the township of Opotiki, with its historic buildings and old world charm you can enjoy beaches fishing boating in this vibrant coastal town, be sure not to miss out Candy's ice cream an dessert bar on your travels it has the largest selection of gourmet ice creams and smoothies in the bay it also sells sushi a real delight for the ice cream and health consious. Opotiki has a lot of history and by visiting the local muesem and information centre you can amass a lot of information on early life in this township. There are also plans for a new harbour entrance and marina and a mussel farm which should be starting early next year. I do hope you enjoy your visit to our lovely town.
