Welcome to Stewart Island Early Childhood Education Centre.

We are a community based early childhood education centre that believes in parent involvement to help shape the future of our children. We aim to provide a stimulating child centred programme that allows each child to develop self-confidence and interest in learning. Our centre environment is structured to encourage creativity, exploration and investigation in all curriculum areas through play. This aim is achieved with the use of a carefully planned programme, which the children experience while attending the centre.
