Not simply just another Irish Bar
Enjoy the atmosphere of Auckland's beautiful waterfront, experience that uninterrupted pint of Guinness, or savour a homemade dish in our fantastic outdoor seating area.
You could be forgiven for thinking that this is simply just another Irish bar"what with the paraphernalia, flags and sign posts (even a massive stag's head)"but O'Hagan's isn't your typical Irish Bar.
It serves Guinness, Kilkenny, has friendly Irish staff and flavoursome pub grub, but because O'Hagan's is located at Auckland's Viaduct, its location adds a whole new paradigm.
The bar has plenty of seating (most of it prime for big screen sport viewing), some round barrel tables and an abundance of outside seating to relax, unwind and take in the 7 days live entertainment or feature sport on the big screens.
There is one thing O'Hagan's has in common with other Irish bars: chances are you'll have a fun night out"shouldn't that be mandatory?

On a sunny Sunday morning we tried O'Hagan's for the first time - for an early lunch. Well-priced meals and quite good value, the serving of gnocchi was a bit small for my partner's liking but incredibly tasty. The chicken ciabatta sandwich was nice, if a little dry. Loved the big sports screens, friendly wait staff and quick service.

Always a great place to come and have a few drinks. Staff are always friendly and the beer cold. The 5km run on a Tuesday night at 6pm is worth the $7 entry fee. Redeem your entry for a free drink after the race and there are spot prizes. Give it a go!

I liked O'Hagans beacause it had a warm and friendly atmosphere. There food is top of the line and the staff are polite and quick off the mark. The best meal i have had was the Nacho's, it was huge and beautifuly flavoured. Fantastic. If your looking for a quite dinner with friends and family or even on your own the O'Hagans is the place to go. 10/10

Great pub to visit at all times (lunch, afterwork drinks, weekends). Always fantastic food - enough to feed a horse but tasty and always fresh.

Good place for a pint with a few mates, with the Irish twist it's a good fun place to be. A bit busy on a friday night, so often a place to kick of the night.

Great place to stop in for a pint or two if you're down at the viaduct. There's outdoor seating to sit in the sun and watch the goings on in summer. Great atmosphere at night too. Just what you'd expect from a good Irish bar!

My favorite bar in the Viaduct, great for sports. During summer there's a 5K run series on Tuesday nights with a great crew of runners, see www.coolrunning.co.nz for info. The outdoor area is perfect for a beer during summer.

Being Irish, I feel that it's my duty to see what Auckland has to offer in the way of Irish pubs and O'Hagans doesn't disappoint. You probably won't find that many Irish people in there but the atmosphere is great all the same. A must if you're in the viaduct on a Saturday night

Great food and great atmosphere make this a perfect place to relax. The food and staff are amazing, making sure it's a great place to while away the time, while viewing the viaduct basin.
