I have been working on K road for the past 2 years and Sal's is by far the best spot for pizza, served with tap beer is twice as nice, highly recommend.

thank you SAL'S. the pizza is amazing. well worth the trip into Auckland. the pepperoni is just like we remember when we lived in NY. we have gone in and ordered two pizza's, one to eat there and one to take home. hard to make it home with a full pie! wish we could buy some of your ingredients, pepperoni, ground garlic powder, cheese, and at least a few jars of sauce! have been to K road and the commerce st. locations. both have a great staff. well worth any wait!!!

I have been to this place just recently now with a couple of my friends and this place is just fantastic. Great pizzas and it is very scrumptious and mouth-watering. Excellent customer service by the staff. On the downside, it is a very small place, just a few seating for a couple or a family of 4. They also have 2 tables outside but you have to stand and eat.

My favourite place to go for special events or just because. The pizza is extremely tasty and the atmosphere adds to the experience. A definite must!!

The place to go if you miss New York and their pizza! Best NY pizza outside of New York. Amazing traditional Italian New York pizza. If you haven't tried Sal's you are definitely missing out!

Sals pizza is MASSIVE. We had the only vegetarian option of cheese pizza. Very basic; just tomato sauce and cheese. Would have been much tastier if it had some slices of tomato on there.

Smells and tastes like genuine New York style pizza....Yummy. We sat outside and stood at the table to eat our large takeout slice. Tasted amazing, good size slice, great price. Recommended!!

I have had Sal's pizza a few times and it is the best you are going to find in NZ. I used to work and live in Manhattan and I after getting used to the pizza I found most pizza outside of NY is cr@p. Sal's is as close as you are going to get without going to NY. Go figure I had to move to NZ to get good NY style pizza

Okay so I found this place by accident not long after it opened. Without a doubt its the best pizza I ever had. I got a few trips coming up next year and I keep thinking 'how am going to deal with being able to to Sals?' 5 Stars - Dont miss it...
