27th January 2011 We have just stayed 3 nights at Rydges Rotorua and it was flawless! The Room was beautiful, staff were beyond amazing and the dining included the best meals we have had for a very long time. Their fantastic pool entertained our children for hours......and so did the lifts! Best accomodation we have had, awesome atmosphere will be back again for sure! Highly recommend to others! Well done Rydges Rotorua!

The Atrium Restaurant is perfectly situated in the heart of the hotel. A four-storey central court area offering natural lighting, palm trees and a cascading waterfall allows guests to dine under the stars. Serving contemporary cuisine, the restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. A Cafe Style Lunch Menu is also available.
3rd February 2012 My wife and I both had the seafood chowder for starters. Very fast service and tasted good. I had the New York Strip steak, with steak fries, port jus and a side of basil portobello mushrooms. Well cooked, good taste and reasonable portions. My wife's sirloin was cook beautifully as well.
The restaurant was extremely quiet for a Friday night, so the service was extremely quick. Overall a good experience, but a little pricey (being a Rydges Priority member does take 20% off, so that bring the price down to a more reasonable cost)
