1st October 2012 Vicki is extremely good at what she does. As well as being super competent, she is also warm, kind and caring to babies and to parents like us, who were at our wits' end. She has helped to change our lives for the better and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing help with their little ones.

20th September 2012 I don't have any experience with the in home service (we did phone consultations) but the experience was an unmitigated disaster. It turned out our son had an undiagnosed case of silent reflux. The system of leaving him to cry for four minutes at a time for three days did not work for us and left our baby terrified of his bedroom and me a total cot case. I don't think I will ever stop feeling guilty about it. For a baby with no underlying conditions I'm sure "the strategy" is fine but please please please if you feel something is wrong trust your instincts. Nobody knows your baby as well as you. The postnatal consultant is (in my case) not there with you and things that would be obvious to a medical professional actually examining the baby, but not obvious to an exhausted mum nor to an absentee sleep consultant with no medical training, are missed. If I could have my time again (oh I wish I could) I would invest in a good front pack and let my baby sleep on me until we were both settled down and only then worry about where he is sleeping. Our baby now sleeps happily in his cot. It is not true that cuddling babies to sleep in those early months spoils them forever.
