The Service Studios

The founder of The Service Studios, a World War I Veteran, recognized how proud all returned military personnel were, with being one himself, to have served their country and yet, with the exception of their precious, personal memories, these gallant Warriors had very little to commemorate the dedication to their country and beliefs and the achievements and sacrifices that they and so many military comrades around the world had made.

This is how the concept of, what was to become affectionately known as The Shield was born.

Our Founder sold The Shield very successfully, by word-of-mouth. He was forever saying how he wished he could reach all of the brave, proud servicemen and women, world-wide so that they too, could have something very special and unique, that would last indefinitely. One of the original Shields ever manufactured, 60 years ago this year, is in our possession and is still, in pristine condition

Now, 61 years on, sadly we have had numerous wars and peace keeping operations including the Korean War, Vietnam War, two wars in Iraq and peace keeping operations in Kosovo.
