The Humble Beginnings of an authentic kiwi made New Zealand Gin

Not so long-ago gin distillery owners - Andrew and Saskia Lewis never dreamt of owning a gin distillery until being seduced by the idea while on holiday touring Gin distilleries in Canada. With both of them having backgrounds in engineering and science, it wasn(TM)t a far stretch to transfer these skills into the Gin Business.

Although Andrew and Saskia are not big gin drinkers, they do appreciate the odd glass here and there, for them it was about the process. Beginning with natural Botanics, Humdinger Gins uses a total of ten botanicals including locally sourced Canterbury barley, orange, and lemon from Gisborne, and the remainder from around the world.

Humdinger Gin enlisted the services of a highly sort after spice trader in the UK to gather the very best spices for their Gin. Real juniper berries grown specifically for distillation.
