J&R Contracting Limited has been incorporated since 1995. During that period, J&R has been the primary contractor, or subcontractor in a number of large infrastructure developments and upgrade projects.

We also have qualified drainlayers & drainage contractors, for both Domestic and Commercial Projects

Over this time J & R have built an enviable reputation for quality installation of pipelines, effective site management and professional communication. Since those early days J&R have grown into a major force in both directional drilling and trenching for utilities in the Northern half of the North Island.

J&R have an established team and the resources to successfully complete the trenching and directional drilling for most infrastructure projects in New Zealand. J&R's experience has included projects installing Wastewater and Stormwater, Power, Water & Gas as well as Telecommunications for various companies and private customers.

J&R is a preferred Contractor to Vector, AT and Watercare which entailed a thorough examination of our business practices including our Health and Safety and Quality Assurance procedures. In addition, we are Prequalified in a number of H&S systems and our personnel are certified in the necessary Safety and Environmental prerequisites.
